Is a portfolio company of Brynwood Partners. Founded in 1984, Brynwood Partners is a private equity firm that makes control investiments in lower middle market companies over a long-term horizon.

The firm acquires companies in a diverse range of industries with enterprise values between $25 and $125 million.

In the long list of catchy jingles “You’re not fully clean unless you’re Zestfully clean” ranks at or near the top, perhaps just shy of “The best part of waking up…”

But we’re guessing it was more than the jingle and the Ocean Breeze scent that attracted Brynwood Partners to buy the Zest brand from Procter & Gamble. Brynwood is using the brand as an anchor for a new platform called High Ridge Brands.
